=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Skills =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Channeling ---------- Your skill in channeling is your mental skill at being able to channel your magic powers into a fellow player. The powers you channel are not in the form of magic spells, but in the form of spellpoints adding to the reciever's spellpool for him to be able to cast more expensive spells. The syntax is 'channel ' to try to channel spellpoints to your friend. To channel spellpower can be risky though, and both the caster and the reciever will be checked against their channeling skill and their discipline stat for success. If one or the other part fails this check there is a possibility for a magic burnout, which can cause a loss of both spellpoints and hitpoints. The more spellpoints you try to channel the greater risk and the more fatal burnout. If the caster succeeds in channeling spellpoints the reciever will be asked if he wishes to recieve them. If then the reciever fails in recieving the channelled power, both the reciever and the caster risks burnout. Both if the reciever fails to recieve the spellpoints and if the reciever doesn't want to recieve them, the spellpoints will be withdrawn from the caster anyway. The amount of spellpoints the reciever will get if both succeeds is dependent not only upon the amount of spellpoints channelled but also on the channeling skill of both parties.
