=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Healing =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Apothecs -------- The apothecs are the places out in the mud where you come to buy healing potions and salves. You simply have to order an item from the menu, or 'buy ', and the apothecary will see to it to carry out your order. The potions sold are divided into anticriticals, bloodclotters and medicine, each one healing the appropriate health points. The potions are often stated along with how much they heal, and a basic cost. The basic cost is not the amount you have to pay for the potion however, but rather a comparative price. The real price will then depend both on your trading and appraisal skills, as well as your local fame and reputation, ie. your fame and reputation in the area the apothec is in. This making it cheaper to buy if you're a well known legend, or a steady customer. In some apothecs you will be given a choice to haggle extra for the price, thereby trying to make a better offer. Failing to be able to pay after the price is set - either you try to buy it for the normal price, or you fail your haggling - will offend the apothecary though, and in turn lessen your quota at that particular place. Your quota is otherwise how many potions of a certain kind the apothecary will let you buy. If you buy stronger potions, ie. potions that heal more damage, this will lessen your quota more than if you buy lighter potions. And if the apothecary thinks you've bought too many of a certain potion, you can always buy other sorts, or visit another apothec. The apothecary will forget your face in a while though, thereby resetting your quota. The amount of heals you can buy will also go up with your resilience stat.
