=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Wizhood =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Wizhood ------- The wizards of the mud are the characters of the people in charge of it, the people developing it and the people creating new areas out in the kingdoms. So, even though they appear on the 'who' list, they are not real players, ie. they do not take part in the actual game. They are logged on and able to talk to you, but they may NOT help you in any game related way. You can however ask any of the wizards for help on other mud issues, as they usually have been around here for quite a long time and know the most of how it all works. Since wizards often have no real things to do or tasks inside the world of Kingdoms they are notorious for being idle a lot, ie. for being inactive in the mud for long periods, but this is only because so much of their work is outside the mud prompt, mostly in editing code and coding - they are mostly on the contrary to being idle very productive. Arches and wizards ------------------ The wizards are mainly divided into wizards and archwizards. The arch- wizards, or just arches, are the administrative wizards of the mud, they are essentially in charge of the game and has the power to do most things in it. These are therefore the ones you should talk to if you encounter problems or bugs in the mud, or if you have more general questions about issues in the mud. The ordinary wizards are then just coders and helpees, that really doesn't have any access to the important files of the mud but still has the powers of an immortal character. Such wizards may still be learning the ropes of wizhood, or may just be in charge over one area of their own, and they may not be able to help you out in all cases.
